EVOLUTION DEVICE MANAGER (eDM)
Evolution Device Management (eDM) SaaS offering is available to operators deploying Evolution Digital Android TV Devices. eDM offers to operators a hosted, cloud-based solution that enables management, control and telemetry of their devices in the field, enabling enhanced customer satisfaction and greater operational efficiency, as operators can now avoid time and money spent towards truck rolls, equipment replacement and blind troubleshooting.
Device management: Device information, online state, applications installed, Wi-Fi network and frequency, location, storage and more!
Device control: Scheduled recurring or one-time device or group reboot, lock, unlock and factory reset.
Device analytics: Full diagnostic information including CPU temperature and utilization, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signal strength, network speed and response time, as well as RAM and ROM utilization.
Device administration: API specification for all core eDM features, device group creation and provisioning, user/page authorities and settings.
APK SOFTWARE UPDATES
eDM also enables APK software update capabilities, allowing for easy and unlimited middleware/UX-specific upgrades that do not require a full Android TV build and recertification.
eDM’s APK software capability is available to operators deploying EVO FORCE 1, EVO FUSE 4K and eSTREAM 4K pending confirmation of middleware integration, as efforts are already complete or in-process for popular and preferred APK vendors.
