Senior Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Evolution Digital’s engineering team; including hiring, training, staff development, performance management
  • Manage product development and customer facing solutions within budget and aggressive timelines
  • Create and implement Agile Groups to target complex business problems by assembling multi-disciplinary teams
  • Manage complex changes to solutions by creating multiple streams of work, with different teams through good communication, collaboration and execution excellence
  • Create compelling value propositions for customers by creating customized solutions based on Evolution Digital’s IP Video platform
  • Develop solution proposals based on thorough understanding of customer requirements
  • Direct and coordinate resources to support the day-to-day operations, installation, upgrade and migration of IP Video solutions
  • Coordinate and manage resilient, scalable high-performance products and solutions across multiple locations involving multicultural teams in different countries
  • Prioritize and manage workloads from multiple sources – customers, partners and development teams and deliver under agreed upon SLAs
  • Convert product features into key technical requirements and help drive the development across multiple teams
  • Track and report progress and key product metrics to stakeholders and management with the ability to develop and improve KPI’s to deliver service excellence
  • Proactively identify key risks and develop mitigation strategies. Work with customers and partners and resolve issues by building consensus
  • Assist with the sales process by articulating salient product features to customers. Decompose complex solutions into lucid components and help customers understand the value of Evolution Digital’s solution
  • Assess market directions in the IP Video industry and create innovative ideas and review with executive management
  • Develop and manage financial budgets for projects

EDUCATION:

  • Engineering Degree

DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • 10 – 15 years of experience in the Tech Industry. Cable/Telco/Video Industry preferred
  • Strong technology architecture background is a must
  • Leadership skills and extensive experience in customer facing role is critical
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and processes
  • Software systems development experience is a preferred
  • Ability to build consensus with customers and design solutions collaboratively
  • Experience in presenting and working with all levels of employees, including C Suite Executives
  • Demonstrated ability to learn the business process flows and technical solutions of complex systems and their dependencies
  • Financial acumen with knowledge of pro-forma development and budget development/tracking required
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
  • Should possess know-how to get things done. Motivate and get the best out of delivery teams, partners/peers, including vendor partner engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coach and mentor junior employees, sharing technical and customer knowledge in a helpful and timely fashion
  • Desire to learn new skills and technologies, work well within multicultural teams, strong communication and documentation skills, and seek creative solutions that further the overall goals of the organization
