Evolution Digital Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Marc Cohen, has been named a Cable TV Pioneer, one of 25 selected new members to be inducted into the group at the 53rd Annual Cable TV Pioneer Banquet at SCTE-ISBE Cable-Tec Expo in New Orleans, LA, on October 2, 2019.
This year’s class includes remarkable men and women who currently contribute to the growth and innovation of the industry. To become a Cable TV Pioneer, a candidate must have a minimum of 20 years of direct involvement in the cable industry, demonstrate leadership, progress in their positions and have contributed to their communities.
Qualifying cable veterans may have an application submitted on their behalf by a qualified Pioneer, with a co-sponsor who is also qualified. The nominating and co-sponsoring Pioneers cannot be affiliated with the candidate or with each other by a business or family relationship.
“I am overwhelmingly humbled to receive this recognition and lifetime achievement,” said Cohen. “I’ve dedicated my entire life to serving in the cable/telecommunications industries. I feel very privileged to be acknowledged as a part of this very elite group of individuals that have made lasting impacts to the way we know video consumption and entertainment experiences today. This recognition allows me to look back on great accomplishments achieved with remarkable colleagues and organizations, as well as look forward to the ones that are yet to come.”
As EVP of Sales and Marketing at Evolution Digital, Cohen brings more than 30 years of experience in cable system operations and ownership, sales and marketing, content aggregation and bandwidth reclamation and IPTV solutions. He currently leads the sales, sales engineering and marketing teams and strategy for Evolution Digital.
