Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Marc Cohen brings more than 25 years of experience in cable system operations and ownership, sales and marketing, content aggregation and MPEG-4 solutions to his role as EVP of Sales and Marketing for Evolution Digital. Cohen leads the sales, sales engineering and marketing teams and strategy for Evolution Digital. Cohen is a key strategist in driving product and service concepts to best serve our customers based on direct feedback and discussions led by him.
Prior to joining Evolution Digital, Cohen was VP of Sales for Avail-TVN. He was the corporate lead for Avail-TVN’s linear cable solution and all of the sales efforts in the US and Caribbean. While at Avail-TVN, Cohen expanded the channel partner sales program and managed all linear cable television industry customers and partnerships.
Cohen previously co-founded and operated Longview Communications, a cable MSO with 125 cable systems in five states. Cohen oversaw all technical operations, engineering, construction, sales/marketing, customer care and programming. He was instrumental in the growth of the business and successfully implementing the core business plan of economically upgrading cable system bandwidth and launching advanced services.
Prior to Longview, Cohen served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mid-Atlantic Communications which was sold to Comcast in March of 2000. Cohen has also held various VP and senior level sales and marketing positions in the cable television industry prior to Mid-Atlantic. He currently serves on the board of Bernard, previously known as American Support. Marc is also an adviser to Fidelity Communications Co. and Mid-Atlantic Broadband.
